Yo Imae

The work is called 'Subtle Perception' and the motivation to do this particular job is to check out the result of interaction between photographer and subject and how it can affect the image, dealing with people on the street and asking them to be photographed without intervening in the attitude and posture, leaving it to criteria of each person. The similarity of the pictures makes them be distinguished by the uniqueness of each individual. Because you know... all of us equal, all of us different.

"Photography is subversive, not when it frightens, repels, or even stigmatizes, but when it is pensive, when it thinks."
